In the real world testing, it’s best to have plots at different yield environments to better understand how a hybrid will perform under the toughest conditions. These are not the yield levels we were hoping for, but none the less are as helpful in evaluating overall performance. The hot dry July took a toll on this location near Salisbury, MD hurting pollination and grain fill.
