We also had a hurricane in August that tested stalk and root strength. To top it off, this farm had excessive rainfall after maturity that led to kernel sprouting and disease. The hybrids that yielded above average in this plot show stability under multiple stressors that can rob yield every year in the Mid-Atlantic region.
