Corn Harvest Report #15: Sussex County, DE Dryland Plot Endures Drought Stress

This plot was on Pepperbox Sandy Loam soil. Despite missing some timely rains, this plot still averaged 130 BPA, with 62A28 and 59A25 showing superior drought stress tolerance.

Corn Harvest Report #14: Wicomico County, MD Plot Averages 267.2 BPA

Three of our top-rated hybrids finished strong in poorly drained soil. Starting with 59R27, our 109-day maturity came in at 283 dry bushels! 63H27, with a top-end yield and great grain quality, came in over 280 dry bushels; and 63M73 shows its muscle at over 270 BPA.

Corn Harvest Report #13: 63H27 Leads the Way in Johnston County, NC Plot

Axis 63H27 leads the way in Chris Pierce’s corn plot in Johnston County, NC. This hybrid yielded 174 bushels per acre (plot average 150 bushels).  Axis 64B28 and Axis 63M73 produced good yields also (160 and 158 bushels respectively).  Thanks to our cooperators for a job well done!

Corn Harvest Report #12: Axis 64B28 Excels in Wilson County, NC Corn Plot

Yielding 193 bushels per acre (plot average 170 bushels), 64B28 showed why it is one of our leading hybrids in North Carolina.  63H27 continued its strong showing in our dryland plots, coming in at 186 bushels per acre.  Thanks to Joe and Adam Gardner for putting in an excellent plot.
